European Bunker Day
European Bunker Day is the central event of Atlantikwall Europe. Based on Bunker Day in the Netherlands the seven Atlantic Wall countries will organise each May or June their own version of European Bunker Day.

As part of the network activities, three familiarisation visits were organized in 2019 and 2020. During these visits, an AWE delegation consisting of members of the steering committee and those directly involved became acquainted with board members and volunteers from organizations that manage Atlantic Wall sites or related war museums.

Off the wall, youth exchange programme
In november 2018 pupils from all Atlantic Wall countries were guest at the Domein of Raversyde in Belgium. They addressed the question when borders are justified or not. In the beginning of Juni 2019 other pupils set off for Normandy to participate in the program of the 75th anniversary commemoration of D-Day.

Bunkerzoom photo contest
(Amateur) photographers are invited to participate to the Bunkerzoom Atlantic Wall Europe photo contest. Just go out and look for hidden treasures all over Europe and create your own image of this bunker heritage. Post your photograph on Facebook or Instagram using hashtags #bunkerzoom #atlantikwalleurope and #europeforculture. The deadline is March 31st, 2021.
