Bunkerzoom photo contest

The Best Site Competition originally planned and kicked off in Caen was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 and replaced by the Bunkerzoom photo competition.

In the first three months of 2021, anyone who wanted to, amateurs or professionals, could upload photos of the Atlantic Wall via Facebook and Instagram using the hashtags #bunkerzoom #atlantikwalleurope and #europeforculture.

A professional, international jury was composed for the assessment of the entries, including the well-known bunker photographer Arthur van Beveren on behalf of the Netherlands and Natacha Hofman for Belgium [other jury members?]. The best five entrants were awarded a Go Pro Hero Black 9 (camera). An exhibition will be compiled from the entries that can be seen in Belgium, the Netherlands and France in the course of 2021. Postcards are also made of photos that together form an exclusive Atlantikwall Europe collection.
